Ascon Tecnologic B05 split thermostat with 4 outputs

The Ascon Tecnologic B05 (Power Supply and Output Unit) and P05S (Display with Touch Control Buttons) are digital temperature controllers with a microprocessor that are typically used in refrigeration applications with ON/OFF control and passive or active defrost. The unit has special features to optimize defrost and features to reduce energy consumption by the cooling system. The instrument has up to 4 relay outputs, up to 3 temperature inputs configurable for PTC, NTC and Pt1000 temperature probes or as digital inputs.

The outputs can be used to control compressor or temperature control devices, defrost, evaporator fans and configurable auxiliary devices (light, alarm, second evaporator, etc.)

Temperature inputs can be used for control, evaporator temperature sensing and auxiliary temperature (e.g. product temperature, condenser temperature, etc.).

One digital input is always available on the P05S display unit and two additional digital inputs can be configured as an alternative to the temperature inputs Pr2 and Pr3. The digital inputs can be configured to perform various functions such as door open signal, defrost commands, selection of another temperature control setpoint, external alarm reporting, continuous cycle activation, auxiliary output activation, etc.

The system may also be equipped with an internal buzzer for audible alarm notification. A useful feature is also available to deactivate outputs if the mains voltage is too high or too low.
The front part of the control panel - display consists of a large display (digit height 54 mm for the P05S model) with two digits with the sign -, programming of operating parameters is carried out using 4 capacitive keys (S-Touch).
The connection between the two parts of the B05 and the P05S is made via a CaLind cable.
