Bacharach MGS 250 Extremely sensitive refrigerant leak detector

The Murco MGS 250 NDIR is a non-dispersive infrared wall-mounted detector that can detect a wide range of refrigerant gases. The detector can be used completely stand-alone or integrated into a control or building management system. The Murco MGS 250 can be used in locations that require continuous monitoring and in new build installations, but can also be easily integrated into an existing system. This is done by using the RS485 ModBus communication outputs and an analogue configurable output.

The Murco MGS 250 detector is ideal for supermarkets, warehouses, factories, hospitals and anywhere compressor cooling is used. It detects all commercially available refrigerant types CFC, HCF, HCFC, HFO, including HFO1234YF, HFO1234ZE, R410a, R22 etc. It is possible to order either a universal version of the detector, which allows a wide range of refrigerants to be detected simultaneously, or a more sensitive version can be selected for one specific gas, for which the detector is then factory calibrated and therefore no calibration is required after installation of the detector (except for legally required recalibration).

The Murco MGS 250 is fully configurable via the control buttons and display. There is no need to disassemble the detector, adjust jumpers or potentiometers during installation. It is an economical refrigerant leak detection solution, without the limitations that factory fixed sensor technologies have. The NDIR sensor used is specially designed for long life (5-7 years without the need for recalibration) and for detection of weak leaks (0 - 3500 ppm). NDIR gas sensing technology is immune to false alarms from other gases or changes in temperature and humidity.
