Carel DN33C0LR00 (Carel ir33DIN) models are suitable for controlling cooling units (with evaporator fan) with above-zero and below-zero temperatures. The controllers display the temperature and switch the compressor (or solenoid valve) according to the desired value. They can also automatically defrost the reversing circuit or heating rods according to set time parameters and control lighting. The controller can be used for temperature control during cooling (direct mode) or heating (invert mode). These functions can be easily selected by changing a parameter or digital input.

The Carel DN33S thermostat can operate not only individually, but also in a local network using external control (synchronization), without the need to lay additional cables. This feature is particularly useful and efficient in multi-cabinet applications where the entire operation of the installation must be synchronously controlled, especially with regard to defrosting. Defrosting starts simultaneously in all sections and ends independently, depending on the status of each section. When defrosting is complete, the next cooling phase starts synchronously on all sections. The local network can be used to centralize and synchronize not only the defrosting, but all functions in one display. This means that when the lighting button is pressed, for example, the command is transmitted for serial connection to all controllers, which activate the lighting relay at the same time. The same applies to the on/off, manual defrost, continuous cycle and auxiliary function commands.
