Condensing switch with external sensor Produal KA 10-EXT

The Produal KA 10 condensation switch is designed to detect condensation in cooling systems. With the condensation switch it is possible to control the cooling water supply depending on the moment of condensation on the pipe. The information about the condensation of air humidity is continuous (in the range 0...10V) and depending on the setting it is possible to determine the switching point of the internal relay. The operating point of the relay can be set using the internal trimmer(see following table).

The light on the circuit board will illuminate if the relay coil is energized. This is especially useful when setting the relay trip point. The condensation sensor is based on an aluminum circuit that provides fast response. The contact surface of the capacitor is equipped with a thermally conductive tape, which ensures excellent heat transfer between the tube and the sensor. The tape allows for a clean and quick installation. The KA 10-EXT model has an external condensing sensor. The sensor cable length is 2 m. The external sensor must be mounted on the side or under the pipe. In dusty environments it is recommended to mount the sensor under the pipe.
