The Ascon Tecnologic Z31SA is a digital electronic thermostat, typically used in refrigeration equipment using On/Off compressor control. Evaporator defrost is accomplished by interval compressor shutdown. The controller has one output relay for compressor control and one input for PTC/NTC sensor.
