The XC460D is a controller designed to control compressors and fans in a clustered unit system.
The starting point for neutral zone or proportional band control is the pressure or temperature sensed at the low pressure section (compressor suction) or high pressure section (condenser) of the circuit. A special algorithm balances the compressors' accrued hours to distribute the entire workload evenly.
The controller can convert the pressure reading and display it as a temperature. The front panel offers complete information on system status, load status, condensing pressure (temperature), possible alarms or maintenance conditions. Each load has its own alarm input that can shut it down when activated.
To ensure safety, the unit has 2 inputs for low and high pressure: if activated, the system will shut down.
Using the HOT KEY programming key, the controller can be easily programmed when switched on. The controller can be connected to an XJ500 or XWEB monitoring unit via the TTL output, using the standard ModBus RTU protocol.
