The Dixell XM660K are microprocessor controlled controllers for multiplexed chiller cabinets, suitable for use in medium or low temperature cooling applications. They can be wired into a LAN with up to 8 different sections, which can operate (depending on programming) as stand-alone controllers or clustered, controlled by commands coming from other sections. The control is implemented using the CX660 keypad.
Important functions and features of the Dixell XM600 series:
Dixell XM660Ks are equipped with 4 relay outputs to control solenoid valve, defrost (electric or hot gas), evaporator fans and lights. One output allows control of pulse electronic expansion valves (XM669K only). The devices also feature four temperature sensor inputs - one for temperature control, one for control of the evaporator defrost end, one for the driver, and a fourth that can be used for virtual probe applications or for inlet/outlet air temperature measurement. The XM669K provides two additional probes that can be used for overtemperature measurement and control. Finally, the XM660K / XM669K feature two digital inputs that are fully configurable.
The instruments are equipped with a HOTKEY connector that allows for easy programming. A direct RS485 Modbus RTU compatible serial output allows easy interfacing with XWEB remote management elements. RTC is also optionally available. The HOTKEY connector can be used to connect an X-REP display (depending on model).
