One of the best selling digital thermostats, ideal for simple cooling or heating applications. The Dixell XR10CX is particularly sought after for its favourable price/performance ratio, reliability, sufficient temperature range and accuracy. When deployed as a replacement for a conventional mechanical thermostat, it represents a qualitative leap in control. The overall control accuracy of these thermostats is ± 0.7 °C.
Dixell XR10CX models are thermostats designed for cooling or heating applications. They are designed for panel mounting and have front panel dimensions of 32×74 mm. They feature a single relay output for cooling or heating control. Up to three PTC or NTC temperature sensors can be connected. One for temperature control, the second and third are optional (connected to the HOT KEY connector and to the digital input) for signaling a condensing temperature alarm or just to display any temperature on a remote display, anywhere outside the thermostat front panel.. The Dixell XR10CX units also have a digital input for alarm signaling, for defrost triggering or any other function that can be set using the thermostat parameters, or the digital input can be optionally configured for a fourth temperature sensor. The HOT KEY output can be used to connect the unit (using the external XJ485-CX module) to a Dixell XWEB monitoring system. Communication is via ModBUS-RTU protocol. The instruments can be fully configured with parameters that can be easily programmed using the keypad or the HOT KEY programming key, or by using the ProgToolKit interface.
