The Dixell XT131D (DIN rail mounted) models are two-state ON/OFF controllers with a neutral zone for temperature, humidity or pressure control.
Some rooms require a type of control that is succinctly expressed by the motto "cool in summer, heat in winter". These are, for example, warehouses with poor thermal insulation.
The controller controls 2 relays, each in ON/OFF mode. The principle of this control precludes both outputs from operating simultaneously.
The relay for the heating is ON when the current temperature is lower than the desired temperature, when the temperature reaches the desired value the heating is switched off.
If the temperature continues to rise , neither output is switched on within a certain distance of the setpoint (neutral zone). If the temperature rises above the neutral zone, cooling is switched on. It operates until the temperature drops to the desired value, then switches off. If the temperature continues to fall within the neutral zone, no output is switched on; if the temperature falls below the neutral zone, the heating is switched on. The neutral zone (parameter db) is located symmetrically to the setpoint (SET), so that its boundaries lie at (SET-db/2) and (SET+db/2).
Dixell XT131D controllers are equipped with two control relays at the output and also include one alarm relay for critical condition reporting.
The analog input can be factory set to PTC, NTC, Pt100, J, K, S thermocouple signals.
All XT series controllers are equipped with a digital input, optional buzzer and can be quickly and easily programmed using the HOT KEY programming key. The basic version also includes a TTL output for connecting the controller to serial communication.
