The General Life HT500S Smart is a room wireless wifi thermostat that is able to operate in the same way as a wireless thermostat, i.e. the thermostat in the living room communicates wirelessly with a receiver usually located near the boiler, and also includes a wifi interface that can be used via a smartphone app to control the thermostat from anywhere with internet access.
This technology allows, among other things, the popular function of automatically changing the temperature according to the location of individual users. This feature allows the temperature to be automatically lowered when all household members leave and, conversely, raised when one of the users starts to approach.
The thermostat uses your private Wi-fi network for its operation, which must be available at the installation site. Without an available wi-fi network to which the thermostat connects, it is not possible to use the smart features of the thermostat.
The General Life HT500S Smart Thermostat can be set to 6 different operating modes:
