The correct mounting position of the switch is indicated in the figure.
In case you want to use the built-in backlight of the fingerboard (the backlight has a 230Vac power supply), you need to connect both the L phase (e.g. to pin 1) and the PE working wire (e.g. to pin 4) to the switch. In this case, the switching output of the switch will be on pin 2 (phase L) and on pin 5 (PE) and the backlight will be activated when switched to the on position.
