The Ascon Tecnologic K38 is a microprocessor controller with ON/OFF, ON/OFF with neutral zone and PID single-acting or dual-acting control. The controller is equipped with a fast AUTOTUNING function, SELFTUNING function and automatic calculation of parameters for FUZZY CONTROL during PID control. This allows fast and above all simple installation without the need for lengthy setting of PID control parameters for optimum speed and control accuracy.
The controlled variable is displayed on a four-digit red display and the status of the outputs is indicated by two indicator lights on the display, and the function of three indicator lights with signs can be programmed.
The controller can store up to 4 setpoints in memory and can have two types of outputs: relay or solid state relay (SSR) output.
Thermocouples (J,K,S and Tecnologic IRS infrared sensors), normalized signals ( 0 to 50/60 mV, 12 to 60 mV) and Pt100 resistance sensors can be connected to the controller input.
