Pixsys, a manufacturer of control technology for industry with a focus on high temperature processes, has launched a new compact PID temperature controller. The Pixsys DRR450 comes as an answer to the requirements of small size and simple wiring. It incorporates the latest Pixsys technology into a 30A (optionally up to 50A) solid state relay (SSR) DIN case from Celduc's ESUC series.
The result is a compact solution for applications in a variety of fields, such as:
- plastic extrusion and injection molding
- packaging machines (sealing, packaging)
- firing and drying lines in electric tunnel furnaces
- multi-zone thermal protection systems
Basic information:
- Compact DIN housing - width from 22.5mm to max. 49.5mm (for larger power units)
- Optional input for thermocouple type K / J / R / E , PID control
- Integrated 50A current transformer for load monitoring
- RS485 serial communication, optically isolated
- Modbus RTU / Slave protocol, baud rate selectable from 9600
- Alarm and/or diagnostics up to 115000 Baud functions ( reg. loop interrupt alarm / heating interrupt alarm)
- Plug-in connectors for direct connection to SSR 25A to 50A
- Ideal connection for Pixsys operator panels or PLCs for monitoring/supervision (e.g. TD700)
