PID controller Pixsys DRR460-12A-CAN for DIN rail

The Pixsys DRR460 is a flexible, powerful yet compact PID controller aimed at multi-zone or large-scale applications where it is convenient to place the controller in a rack. Control and monitoring can then be implemented via the CAN communication bus.
The analog input is freely adjustable for temperature sensors including PT100 and thermocouples as well as for process signals in mA or V. The current transformer input allows monitoring of the current to the load and thus provides control of the function of the entire control loop.
Two outputs are designed for SSR connection for dual PID control of heating and cooling or as an alarm. There is also one analog output for process or setpoint control or retransmission options. Extensive software features include logic for soft-start or logic for open-close motorized valves. The controller can be connected to a communication network with CANOpen protocol.

To monitor and control systems of up to 150 Pixsys DRR460 units, the manufacturer also provides dedicated monitoring software running on a Pixsys Panel PC.
Areas of application for Pixsys DRR460 controllers and monitoring superstructure include machines and production lines for plastic extrusion and injection moulding, packaging, ovens, dryers, textile machines and generally multi-zone heat treatment systems.
