Pixsys TD850-A16 HMI with integrated soft-PLC and Touch LCD

The Pixsys TD850 is the golden mean of the Pixsys industrial PC range. Its size encourages it to be built into smaller and mid-sized devices that still benefit from the computing power of a PC. The dual-core Intel Atom processor and SSD hard drive guarantee plenty of computing power for industrial applications, while maintaining durability and a wide range of operating conditions. Two RS232 and RS485 serial buses and 10/100/1000 MBit Ethernet provide connectivity to other devices. In addition to this connectivity, the Pixsys TD850 includes a Mini-PCI Express port that allows the PLC to be expanded with modules such as Wi-Fi, an additional network card, Profibus, etc.

Thanks to the use of an aluminum housing, not only is high mechanical resistance ensured, but also a very well designed cooling system that allows for completely fanless operation. This also increases reliability compared to other, competing solutions. If a power failure occurs, the innovative integrated UPS automatically closes all open applications and files and shuts down the operating system and the entire PC. Capacitor-based technology eliminates the need for maintenance and preventive battery replacement of the UPS, as is common with conventional solutions.

Soft-PLC programming using the LogicLab development environment (compliant with IEC-61131 programming standards) allows the development of control logic without the need for external PLC assistance. Pre-installed software includes Progea's Movicon SCADA, enabling the creation of a clear user interface, and TeamViewer for remote management and monitoring.
