The Produal DA 6 is a DI/AO converter that allows you to encode up to 6 digital inputs (potential-free contacts) to be monitored into a single analog output. This analogue signal can be transferred via three wires to the parent system where it can be easily decoded back into 6 digital signals.
Each digital input generates a different level of analog signal. The lowest level (DI1) is about 160 mV / 0.254 mA and the highest (DI6) is about 5.08V / 12.13 mA.
The converter displays the status of each digital input via an LED.
