Dixell XR60CH 5P0C1 cooling controller with 230V power supply and 20A relay

The Dixell XR60CH is one of the best selling digital thermostats, ideal for simple cooling (with active defrost option) or heating applications. It is particularly sought after for its favourable price/performance ratio, reliability, sufficient temperature range and accuracy. Deployment as a replacement for a conventional mechanical thermostat means a qualitative leap in control.

Up to 4 PTC / NTC temperature sensors can be connected to the controller. One for temperature control, a second for evaporator temperature sensing and a third and fourth optional (connected to the HOT KEY connector and to the dig.input) to signal a condensing temperature alarm or just to display any temperature on the remote display. The units also have a digital input for alarm signalling, for switching on the auxiliary output or for defrost triggering. The digital input can optionally be configured for a fourth temperature sensor. The HOT KEY output can be used to connect the unit (using the external XJ485-CX module) to a Dixell X-WEB monitoring system. Communication is via ModBUS-RTU protocol. The instruments can be fully configured with parameters that can be easily programmed using the keypad or the HOT KEY programming key.

This version also has a more powerful relay for the compressor - load capacity 20A at resistive load, 8A at inductive load. Another relay is used to activate evaporator defrost (by heating coils or compressor reversal). The third relay is usable to control the evaporator fan.

The advantages of the Prime CH series are a larger display with a choice of one of three colors (red, blue, white), an elegant design and uncompromising front panel sanitization. This version allows the connection of a defrost relay with a voltage other than the supply voltage.
