Ascon Tecnologic TLK33 are PID controllers adapted to control Peltier cells. The PID control follows a two degree of freedom algorithm, which optimizes the controllers' ability to operate with independent process variable and setpoint changes. The Peltier connects directly to the controller outputs, which allow automatic polarity reversal and can directly control loads up to 7A. There is also an output for reporting alarm conditions, and two adjustable digital inputs. Optional RS485 ModBus RTU serial communication is available. Depending on the version selected, the following can be connected to the controller input:
- Pt100 thermocouples, J,K,S thermocouples, infrared sensors, mV signals (0/12...50/60 mV)
- PTC, NTC thermistors, J,K,S thermocouples, infrared sensors, mV signals (0/12...50/60 mV)
- Standardized analog current signals 0/4...20 mA
- Normalized analog voltage signals 0...1 V, 0/1...5 V, 0/2...10 V
