Universal PID controller Carel DN33Z7LR20 for DIN rail

Carel DN33Z models are suitable for controlling cooling or heating units. These versatile controllers allow not only On-Off control, as is common, but also PID control, including automatic parameter tuning.

Carel IR33-DN33 Universale is a range of controllers designed to control the main physical parameters (temperature, pressure, humidity) of refrigeration, heating and air conditioning units. There are two ranges, the first for temperature probes only (NTC, NTC-HT, PTC, PT1000) and the second for two temperature probes with a wider measurement range (NTC, NTC-HT, PTC, PT100, PT1000, J/K thermocouples), for pressure and humidity transmitters or for general signal converters (0 to 1 V, 0 to 10 V, -0.5 to 1.3 V voltage, 0 to 5 V ratio or 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA current).

Individual models also vary in power supply (115 to 230 Vac or 12 to 24 Vac, 12 to 30 Vdc for controllers equipped with temperature inputs only, and 115 to 230 Vac or 24 Vac/ Vdc for models equipped with universal inputs; depending on the model, one, two, or four output relays, four PWM outputs for controlling external solid-state relays (SSRs), one or two relays, and one or two 0 to 10 Vdc analog outputs (AOs) are installed. The control type can be Set to ON/OFF (proportional) or proportional, integration and derivative (PID). A second probe can be connected for differential control or for free cooling/heating or to compensate for outdoor temperature. Alternatively, a second control cycle can be activated with independent setpoint, differential and dedicated outputs. We offer models designed for panel installation (IR33), with IP65 protection, and for DIN installation (DN33).

To simplify wiring, all models are equipped with plug-in connectors. The controllers can be connected to the network and thus to the monitoring and maintenance system.
