SIEMENS REV200RF is a two-state controller with PID control. The room temperature is regulated by periodically switching on and off the controlled device. The controller operates in so-called working cycles. Based on the measured data, the temperature waveform and the control algorithm, the controller determines how much of its duty cycle the output relay contact will be in the closed position. Depending on the chosen control algorithm, the controller reacts to temperature deviations at different rates.

Automatic adaptation function (Self learning):
The controller comes from the factory with an active auto-adaptation function that allows it to adapt to the system being controlled (building construction type, radiator type, room size, etc.). After the adaptation phase (several working cycles), the controller optimizes its parameters and continues to operate in the optimized mode.
